About Us

kepa (water) kurl (boomerang) is the Aboriginal name for the town of Esperance, it means, "where the water lies like a boomerang".

Small yet beautiful, Esperance is situated on the south east coast of Western Australia and is also known as the 'Bay of Isles'.

Esperance is a destination for all seasons and supports a unique ecosystem, wide sandy beaches, spectacular and pristine coastlines and the panorama of offshore islands of the Recherche Archipelago are all part of its charm.
